Black & White Images or Part Images

Camera is only working in Black & White:

 

1) First try switching BOTH Black POWER SUPPLIES OFF...

    Switch both power plugs for the cctv system and cameras off for 1 minute... NOW switch both power plugs back on and            see if the camera has re-set and now availabe in colour..(Best to try this in day time).

This ofter just simply resets the cameras chip which could have stuck in night mode .

Cameras is showing only a part image or.. its flickering with a fuzzy line on part of the image.

​

This is coursed by the cctv box camera settings being altered from the setting suitable for the type of camera installed. The cctv system is designed to handle 4 or 5 different types of cameras and depnding on the camera type the setting is set at the bottom left of each camera screen.

​

The camera setting type is displayed in one of the following format icon:

​

CVI  TVI   AHD   AUTO   O  

​

With the mouse arrow click the camera type setting and click it to alter it to the SAME as your other camera type settings..... Once this is the same as the working cameras the problem should be resolved and the camera is now working in its correct setting once again...

 

Note: this wrong camera type setting is easy mistake when clicking with the mouse around the screen and care not to alter the setting must be applied in the future.
