Questions we are asked about CCTV and Installation

Below are the MOST often questions we are asked about CCTV costs and Installation ... And about the maintenance cover we offer.

01

Why are some CCTV systems MUCH more Expensive?

Well.... many company's hike the prices to cover their high overheads or poor system purchasing power, others just want to make a higher profit margin. The point is regardless of the system or make of kit... IT MUST BE FIT FOR PURPOSE

BUT there is little sense of over hyping the whole issue and throwing money  at the problem. Best thing is to consider  why you require CCTV and for what functional use. Then match the system to the requirements.

WE buy our systems in bulk and operate LOW overheads and maintain realistic profit margins allowing us to offer excellent value for money on our CCTV installations.

02

I have a cheaper quote from another company!

Remember!... You get what you pay for... (there is NO free lunch in life).. Some people are quoting FULL installs cheap!... But hit you with add-on's or low quality cameras, poor connections etc Often the cable they use will be LOW GRADE and NOT copper grade cable.. This will give YOU POOR picture... POOR quality and a HIGH chance the system will FAIL very SOON...

03

Why are we BETTER?

We have 25 years experience in CCTV in the U.K. & ASIAN market place. We KNOW a good system NEEDS GOOD INSTALLATION & high grade cables, cameras and DVR to work well for many years..

We ONLY use 100% high grade cable... 100% high grade connectors, branded hard drives and good DRV recorders.. WE give a FULL 1 year parts cover and 60 days FREE labour from the date of installation. The labour call out after 60 days is  £30.

04

What is the extra charge ?

We quote a standard rate for CCTV installations of £295 for a full 4 camera set (2020)

Extra Cables:

BUT if you building is bigger and needs more cable than the standard lengths we charge extra £15 per extended cable.. Typically an average home can have no need for extra cables ..or could require one or two extra cables all depending on camera and DVR locations.

PowerLines:

The DVR recorder requires an Ethernet link into the internet router in order to allow the customer to view the cctv images on line from their mobiles or tablets. We provide with the installation a 2 meter Ehternet cable to link router to DVR... However if your TV and router are NOT close then  POWERLINE ADAPTORS are required to link them together through the building existing electrical cabling system. Powerlines if required are supplied and fitted for an additional cost of £35. (2020 cost).

We also offer a maintenance system service  to all our customers if you so require, at the service we will check the system DVR operation and playback, clean the camera lens (this is very important to maintain good day and night time vision) and check the cameras and fixings..Service and maintenance Call £65.
